Low Fat Turkey Meatballs

Turkey meatballs are a crowd-pleasing appetizer or main dish favorite! Swap out the fatty ground beef and try this healthy ground turkey recipe made with little breadcrumbs.

Ingredients
Ground Turkey 99% Fat- Free (Shady Brook) | 1 lb
Plain Bread Crumbs | 1/4 cup
Egg | 1 large
Onion | 2 tsp
Premium Organic Tomato 7 Basil Pasta Sauce| 1 Jar
Crushed Red Pepper | To Taste
Black Pepper | To taste

Directions
Put the raw ground turkey in a bowl, mix in bread crumbs, egg, onions, some black pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste until everything is combined. I used a small cookie scooper to scoop but scooping with a regular spoon is fine as long as the final number of meatballs = 27. After portioning out 27 put in a pan and sauté until it turns slightly darker then add in the sauce and cook till the middle is 165 degrees or higher. Now it's ready to serve pairs well with pasta.
