It’s December and that means the holidays are right around the corner. For many the holidays are a time for happiness, family, and some favorite holiday recipes. Rather than waiting for the holidays to get here we want to get you excited about the holidays through some fun, heart pumping workouts. Here are some different holiday themed workouts to try:
Holiday HIIT:
- 10 high knee jogs (each side)
- 10 mountain climbers (each side)
- 10 squats
- 10 skaters (each side)
- 10 push-ups
- 10 squat jumps
- 10 cross-body punches (each side)
- 10 sumo squats
- 10 spideman plank (each side)
Repeat this routine 5 times to get your heart pumping!
12 Days of Christmas:
- 1 – 30 second plank
- 2 – tuck jumps
- 3 – pushups
- 4 – reverse sit ups
- 5 – dumbell curls
- 6 – mountain climbers
- 7 – leg lifts
- 8 – crunches
- 9 – supermans
- 10 – lunges
- 11 – calf raises
- 12 – squats
Listen to the song “12 Days of Christmas” and repeat this entire workout until the song is over to feel a good burn!
Grinch Movie Workout:
- 10 pushups each time “The Grinch” song is played
- 5 burpees every time the Grinch steals something
- 15 tricep dips each time you hear a made up word
- 25 jumping jacks every time the narrator says a word containing “who”
- 25 squats each time the Grinch flashes a creepy smile

- 50 jumping jacks
- 10 walking lunges
- 50 jumping jacks
- 10 plie squats
- 50 jumping jacks
- 10 skaters
- 50 jumping jacks
- 10 burpees
Repeat this workout 3 times or while listening to the entire song “Holly Jolly Christmas” to get your cardio in!
