Shanita's Lifestyle Change

Sometimes the hardest part of the journey to any goal is keeping motivated. Whether it's a fitness goal or a life goal in general, staying on track can be tough. When the goal line is looking fuzzy in the distance, it can be super inspiring to revel in other people’s successes and be reminded that, yes, like them, you can do this. Check out Shanita's amazing transformation below! 

"I've been working on a true lifestyle change. First week back at the gym after being down a little over 2 weeks post a complicated oral surgery. I'm realizing how the gym has become a part of my new normal because I was jonesing to get back the whole time I was down. Even though I'm super sore, and I'm not 100% (still have stitches all over my mouth), it feels so good to be back in the gym! The picture in the blue dress was taken on May 31, 2021. The picture in the black dress was taken on February 5, 2022!

My face is swollen because that was 4 days post-surgery, but, it feels so good to see and feel the progress I've made. 48 pounds down and down 6% body fat 🙌🏽. I'm still a work in progress, but, I'm pretty proud of myself.

Big shout out to my favorite Edge personal trainer who I love to hate 😂 Brian at The Edge in Delran. I started my fitness journey with him in December and although I don't have nice things to say at the moment🤭...He has helped me get stronger by pushing me to my max potential and it's only going to get better." -Shanita, The Edge Fitness Clubs Delran
