Savannah's Edge Challenge Success Story
"These last few months have been nothing but a rollercoaster. I walked into The Edge Fitness Clubs not knowing what to expect, figured I was just going to to do what I used to do (some cardio, push-ups, crunches, maybe a couple of machines not knowing how to do it properly) but instead I walked out that day with a whole new mindset.
I completed a training assessment with personal trainer, Justin Williamson. We did a leg workout and I was sore to where I could barely move without being in pain for 4-5 days after *no exaggeration*. In that moment I knew what needed to be done, so I signed up for his sessions and regret NOTHING.
When we started I weighed in at 182 lbs. and was eating terribly. Justin changed our diet almost immediately because it was just bad for our overall health. He had us at 4 meals a day to get my protein intake up so that my metabolism would get faster. It was hard at first eating the same foods everyday and every 4 hours of the day but I got used to it and started seeing progress and losing weight! Finally!!
Then he told us about this weight loss competition that I just couldn’t pass up. The Edge Challenge changed me completely. It took a lot of hard work and dedication. I had to stay focused on the end to get through it, but the results were incredible! I lost 27 pounds and 11.6% body fat which put me in second place for women in the Manchester club!!! I missed first place by 0.6%!!!!! It was truly amazing!
