Does the Edge participate in the Silver Sneakers healthcare plan through Medicare?

Yes, effective August 2023 all Edge locations will now accept Silver Sneakers participants ages 65 and older referred to us by Tivity Health. We do not accept Prime Members at this time.

Silver Sneakers is a health and fitness benefit designed for Medicare-eligible individuals. It’s included with many Medicare Advantage plans and select Medicare Supplement plans. Most Medicare-eligible adults are 65 or older, but some are younger due to a health condition or disability. Silver Sneakers is not included in Medicare Part A and B sponsored by the government. 

• All participants eligible for this benefit will join at no cost to them for our basic tier membership choice - Edge Basic membership type. With this basic membership, participants are permitted access to any Edge location.
• Program members are required to check in with your scan tag or Edge App at every visit.
• The Edge does not participate in Silver Sneakers classes currently. Edge classes are included in the upgrade plans for additional cost to the participant.
• Participants may upgrade enrollment to our top tier membership choice - Edge Strong for classes, Spinning, and other premium amenities, and pay $9.99 per month out of pocket. This also includes an enhancement fee of $59.99 due 45 days after signing and annually thereafter. These agreements may be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice.
• All Silver Sneakers participants will have their own unique 16-digit ID number starting with 2300, 0555 or 0556 only.
• If you are a Silver Sneakers participant, but do not have your this unique ID number, click here to find it or call Tivity Health at 866-456-3065.  You will need this number to activate your Edge Membership
• Already an Edge member?  Bring an eligible 16-digit ID number to your home club to rewrite your agreement and accept the benefit.  (We do not refund previously signed for Edge agreements)
• Any participant who is no longer eligible under their current health care benefits will forfeit this benefit and will need to be rewritten to current Edge pricing to continue as a member.
