Wendi has been an employee of The EDGE for 12 years having served in management, sales, and customer service. She has been teaching Pilates for the last 5 years. Wendi is a fully certified Stott Pilates Instructor in mat and machines for level 1 and level 2 including injury and special populations. She continues to take seminars and workshops to maintain her certification.
Wendi's fitness background reaches back to high school where she competed in Tennis and Field Hockey. In 1993, she received her BA in Psychology from Penn State and played two years of college field hockey. She also holds a personal training certification from NASM.
A tri-athlete and marathon runner, Wendi started doing Pilates five years ago after her daughter, Aimee, was born to get back in shape. "Pilates strengthens you from the inside out- once I started I got hooked! It improves stability, flexibility, breathing, and promotes longer, stronger, leaner muscles. My body has totally changed!" Wendi believes that anyone can benefit from Pilates...beginners to lifetime fitness buffs, Pilates will make you feel stronger, energized and focused.
