"Putting these pics out there is an emotional challenge. The harsh reality is definitely motivation to change what the camera captures. Fitness Forward, I hear that a lot. I work for The Edge Fitness Clubs. I spend 8-9 hours a day in a fitness club. You would think I would be in the best shape of my life.
The truth is, I never actually worked out in one of these amazing clubs. I'm always in a rush. I have a lot of excuses for why I just don't have the time. It's time to stop making excuses and look at the reality here. If don't make the time and the effort now, I am probably not going to be around to spend the time with the ones that I love the most. My health will not allow it. I know how, I know where... it's just a matter of making my health the priority.
I signed up for The Edge Fitness Clubs' 8 Week Challenge. The goal is to focus myself for 8 weeks of hardcore fitness and nutrition to kick-start a new and healthy lifestyle.
It's very hard to put myself out there for all of my coworkers to see. Stepping on the scale for the first time to see that number that I know all too well, but somehow think no one else can figure out. The reality is... it sucks but it's the first step to making tomorrow better.
